Adaptive Yoga

Adaptive yoga can be an aid to improving both mental & physical health by integrating the body and mind. Practicing on a consistent basis also increases strength, balance, flexibility and improves breathing.

You are not alone if you long to be connected to the earth and experience the feeling of being grounded once again. After a S.C.I. some individuals experience something called wheelchair floating. Yoga establishes the mind body connection and eliminates the feeling of being disconnected.

It's an aid in stress management, mood regulation, calms spasticity and helps maintain bone density.
